I'm new

Subheading 1

Let us know about you so we can keep in touch or

have a look below for some common questions you might have.

Thanks so much!

Let’s face it - coming to church for the first time can feel intimidating, so we’re here to answer some questions and make you feel a little more comfortable.

WHERE AM I GOING?

We use the Seventh Day Adventist Hall for church each week; it’s on the same grounds as Macquarie College.

Head to 182 Lake Road, Wallsend once you're through the gates turn right at the small roundabout and the church building is straight ahead. There’s plenty of parking spaces!

HOW DOES A CHURCH SERVICE RUN?

Our service runs from 9:30AM - 11AM. When you come to a service, you can expect it to run a little like this:

  • You will be welcomed upon entry

  • We will sing songs, lead by our worship band

  • There will be time for prayer, announcements and then we have four minutes of ‘Family Investment Time’ where we get to chat to each other, meet someone new and the parents in room will take their children out to Kids Church!

  • We will hear a sermon; usually a topical teaching from the bible and the worship band will conclude the service with another song.

If you want a preview of the type of teaching we do, check out our podcasts here

WHERE SHOULD I SIT?

There is no allocated seating and you will never be taking someone’s seat (unless they’re already on it!) .. our host team will be at the doors and will be happy to help find you a seat!

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

Our dress code is ‘wear what you’re comfortable in’ - anywhere from casual to fancy is perfectly fine - we will be so happy to see you either way and that is our Sunday best!

WHAT WILL I DO WITH MY KIDS?

We welcome in little ones like the VIPs they are! Children are welcome in the first part of the service and before the sermon we invite parents/guardians to check-in their children to our weekly kids' program an allocated area of the church. All our kids volunteers have current Working with Children checks.
