Let’s face it — coming to church for the first time can feel a little intimidating. We’re here to answer some questions and help you feel comfortable before you arrive.

WHERE AM I GOING?

We meet each week at the Seventh Day Adventist Hall, on the same grounds as Macquarie College. Head to 182 Lake Road, Wallsend. Once you’re through the gates, turn right at the small roundabout and the church building will be straight ahead. There’s plenty of parking available!

HOW DOES A CHURCH SERVICE RUN?

Our service runs from 9:30am to 11:00am. Here’s what to expect:

- You’ll be welcomed at the door by our host team  
- We’ll sing songs led by our worship band  
- There will be time for prayer, announcements, and four minutes of ‘Family Investment Time’ to meet someone new or catch up with others. During this time, parents can take their children to Kids Church  
- We'll hear a message, with practical teaching from the Bible, this lasts around 25 minutes
- The service concludes with another song from the worship band

WHERE SHOULD I SIT?

There’s no allocated seating, so feel free to sit wherever you like. You won’t be taking anyone’s seat!

Our host team will be at the doors and happy to help you find a spot.
We’d love for you to stick around after the service for a chat, our team and community are always happy to meet new people!

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

Our dress code is “wear what you’re comfortable in.” From casual to fancy, anything is fine. Just come as you are. We’ll be happy to see you!

WHAT WILL I DO WITH MY KIDS?

Little ones are welcome in the first part of the service like the VIPs they are! Before the sermon, parents/guardians can check their children into our weekly Kids Program in an allocated area of the church. All kids’ volunteers have current Working with Children Checks.
